Total Solar Eclipse 4/9/2043
On April 9, 2043, a total solar eclipse will occur in Russia. This will be a rare non-central total solar eclipse, in which the centerline of totality doesn't intersect with the surface of the Earth. The map below shows the path of totality over Russia. To experience the total phase of the eclipse, you must be located within the path of totality represented on the map below. Areas outside the path of totality will get a partial solar eclipse only.
In the U.S., a partial solar eclipse will occur in all or parts of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming on April 8.
